The end of a pet's life is a traumatic time for the entire family. While sad, this is also a critical time and needs to be treated as such. Planned Pethood takes this responsibility seriously.
If your first visit to Planned Pethood is to obtain euthanasia services for your pet, please understand that records from your previous veterinarian will be required to prove medical need. If records are unavailable, Planned Pethood may require a complete workup which could include bloodwork and other diagnostics.
If your pet has had a long-term relationship with a veterinarian other than Planned Pethood, we would strongly encourage you to seek their help in making this difficult decision.
